IS FLYING
At our flight school in the Mannheim and Rhine-Neckar area, we provide training in flying gyrocopters, also known as gyrocopters and autogyros.
Thanks to the stabilizing gyro effect of the rotor, the gyroplane is very stable in the air and reacts only slightly to turbulence. For this reason, the gyroplane can also be flown in strong winds – and can be used practically all year round. The gyrocopter is inherently stable.
Lessons are flexible in terms of time and are possible all year round. You can start your flying lessons at any time with the practical part, even without any previous theoretical knowledge.

SIGHTSEEING FLIGHTS AND TRIAL FLIGHTS
Is flying also a big dream for you that you would like to fulfill? At the Mannheim Flying School you have the opportunity to get to know flying in a completely new way.
Unlike in an airplane, you can experience the fascination of flying on one of the sightseeing flights. Various planes are available for this purpose. We offer sightseeing flights with autogyro, gyrocopter or gyrocopter. We cater to your wishes in the selection as well as in the route of the sightseeing flights Mannheim.
Here we offer Heidelberg or Hockenheim as possible destinations, for example, if the sightseeing flight should not last longer than 30 minutes. If you would like a 60-minute flight, we recommend a Neckar tour.
GYROCOPTER TRAINING
Our “home port” is the Mannheim airfield. From here, we offer you the opportunity to book sightseeing flights or to take a pilot training course to fly gyrocopters yourself. Alternatively, you can also use Germany’s first gyrocopter simulator.
Thanks to its central location in the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region with its excellent infrastructure, our flight students have the best conditions for flight training on gyrocopters. The Mona Hörig gyroplane flying school is five minutes from the Mannheim freeway junction. You can also quickly reach the Mannheim train station with its connection to the Deutsche Bahn ICE network. If it is not possible for you to arrive every day, we will be happy to help you find suitable accommodation.
