PILOT TRAINING
Pilot training takes place in our “home port” at Mannheim airfield. From here, we offer you the opportunity to book sightseeing flights or to take a pilot training course to fly gyrocopters yourself. Fast-track courses are also possible.
Thanks to its central location in the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region with its excellent infrastructure, our flight students have the best conditions for flight training on gyrocopters. The Mona Hörig gyroplane flying school is five minutes from the Mannheim freeway junction. You can also quickly reach the Mannheim train station with its connection to the Deutsche Bahn ICE network. If it is not possible for you to arrive every day, we will be happy to help you find suitable accommodation.
Lessons during pilot training are flexible and possible all year round. You can start the practical part at any time, even without prior theoretical knowledge. Book your flying lessons as your schedule allows.

There are two restaurants and a fitness studio opposite City Airport Mannheim. Mannheim’s Maimarkt grounds and the SAP Arena are right next door. From ice hockey with the Mannheim Eagles to rock concerts – there’s something for everyone here.
The center of the “city of squares” Mannheim is only two kilometers away and easily accessible by public transport. The city’s cultural and sporting offerings are enormous. Excursion destinations in the surrounding area: Heidelberg, Schwetzingen, Speyer, Odenwald, Palatinate Wine Route, …
